City Dragons Code of Conduct – Keep it Fun, Keep it Safe!

We're all about having fun, showing up, and supporting each other! Here's our short and sweet Code of Conduct to keep the good vibes flowing.

Our Motto

Be Safe, Be Kind, Commit, Listen, Muck In, and Have Fun!

Commitment

  • Show Up: We need to be at the training sessions so we can gel as a crew and learn together. Can't make it? Just let the coach or manager know.

  • Give It Your All: Whether training or racing, give your best and lift up your teammates

  • Team First: We're stronger together, so let's work as one!

Fun

  • Positive Vibes Only: Keep things upbeat and welcoming for everyone, no matter their background or ability.

  • Respect: Treat everyone with kindness—no bullying or bad vibes.

  • Enjoy the Ride: Celebrate wins, learn from losses, and enjoy being on the water with your crew!

Respect for Each Other

  • Appreciate: Everyone brings something special. Recognise and thank your teammates for their effort.

  • Listen Up: Pay attention when your mates speak—it's all about respect.

  • Feedback: Got suggestions? Keep it helpful and respectful.

Wellbeing

  • Empathy: We all have highs and lows—be there for your teammates.

  • Encourage: A kind word goes a long way, especially when things get tough.

  • Help Out: Whether it’s with gear or a quick hand, be there to help your team.

  • Solve Issues: If there’s conflict, resolve it kindly and respectfully. Ask team leaders for help if needed.

Oops, Consequences!

If you bend the rules, you might get a friendly nudge (aka warning), have to sit out (suspension), or in super rare cases, we might have to say goodbye. The coaches and team leaders will handle it, but don’t worry—we’re all about keeping things fun and fair!

By joining City Dragons, you agree to keep it fun, safe, and positive for everyone!
